**Update** I was contacted by the attorney personally to first off apologize for the first encounter but to also make sure my needs were met. I appreciate that more then I think he understands. We are scheduled to have a consult with him and hopefully get some advice on how to handle our situation. Thank you so much for reaching out and just simply making taking the time to make sure we knew that our initial concern didn't fall thru the cracks! ** Called Just Now to Inquire about a Consultation... We are ready and able to move forward with one however the receptionist sounded like she didn't want to be bothered also sounded like she was eating in my ear... Not a great first impression :/ Thanks anyway

If you are in need of a divorce lawyer, I cannot stress enough that you should hire Mr. Schachter. You will not be disappointed. He is worth every penny. I was blown away by him in court. I was in the most stressful situation of my life. I was willing to settle for a lot less financially to be done and was hesitant about asking for some things, but he assured me and advocated for me and fought (and won) for things for me that I never thought possible in my divorce. He is a bulldog in the court room, incredibly smart, remembering even the smallest details that can truly help. I truly believe he could help anyone get what they want and deserve. For my first hearing, I had insufficient counsel and it was a nightmare. I hired Mr. Schachter and my final hearing was drastically different. He didn't give up. I am so thankful I decided to hire him and I know you would be too, if you are reading this. Things could have been drastically worse for me, but instead we are celebrating.

David will take on Goliath, and win. I thank God every day that I was awarded custody of my children after an extremely contentious divorce in 2015, but since then my ex-spouse has done everything in her power to make my life hell, even hurting my children to get back at me. No one would hold her accountable for her actions. After my child was placed in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, I had enough, and that’s when I called David. He listened and immediately took action when others told me I should be grateful that I had primary custody of my children, especially considering I am a minority, military veteran, and single dad. He picked up my cases where my previous attorney had left off and the difference was night and day. David is a fighter. Armed with an unfailing knowledge of law, the ability to craft strategies to win the fight before it even begins, and the wit and cunning needed to perform in the courtroom. He goes over every detail of the case, leaving no stone unturned, and comes to court ready for battle. In the courtroom, he is always two steps ahead of his opponent and doesn’t for one moment let the lies go… he doesn’t let the deceit go… and he doesn’t give an inch. After more than 5 years of lies, manipulation, and constant conflict, I can finally say my children are safe, they have been given justice for the things they were put through, and my ex-spouse has finally been held accountable for her malicious actions. No one else could have made that happen except David. He exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will never stop thanking him for helping me protect my children. If you are thinking of looking elsewhere for an attorney, you are wasting your time. David is the best and worth every penny.

I first found The Schachter Law Firm here on Google and he was also recommended to us by another local law firm that we contacted. Always the consummate professional, David Schachter has testimonials from dozens of people whose lives he surely affected and we are one of them. Thank you David and The Schachter Law Firm. I read one review here that seems to try to say that David and his Law Firm only represent white people, THAT IS NOT TRUE. I need to make sure that anyone looking for a great attorney/law firm and reading these reviews know that I am NOT white. I am a minority (Asian) and David Schachter and his Firm did not care one bit what color my girlfriend and I were. They welcomed us with open arms. Not only does the firm take on and represent ALL races, the firm also employs people of different race/ethnicity. We saw that first hand at our first appointment at his office. If you have any doubts, just pop into their office and you'll see first hand. Reading through the reviews and comparing them to our experience with David, it's all true. David Schachter is the best. He is caring and just gets people the best result. David, thanks again for what you've done for us. You made our family whole again.

David Schachter is the best family law and child custody attorney around these parts. I would even say he’s the best attorney a client could hire in Georgia. I have had many prior lawyers over the years between my divorce and modification cases, and I can honestly say that Mr. Schachter is the best lawyer I’ve ever hired. He is highly respected and came highly recommended to me by a court employee who had seen him in action in past court proceedings and was herself super impressed. Mr. Schachter actually practices about 2 hours away from the county where my case was heard, but our Judge was familiar with him and was also impressed from past cases David had handled in front of him. In the end I am a father who thanks to Mr. Schachter has primary custody of my children. That’s unusual in this part of Georgia. David’s a great strategist and he makes all the difference in a case. He is the type of warrior you want on your side in the courtroom. He’s not intimidated and he doesn’t back down. He’s also very clever at getting the other side to admit things when they try to lie, which is actually something Mr. Schachter got my ex caught up on and exposed her in the first 2 minutes of the trial. Take it from me because I know from past experience what happens when you hire the wrong lawyer. While Mr. Schachter is the most expensive lawyer I’ve ever hired, I can confidently say that you get what you pay for, and he was worth every extra dollar I paid to hire him. David is the best lawyer at what he does in South Georgia, and the type of lawyer who makes all the difference in a case. Best decision I ever made since getting divorced hands-down.
