I reached out for a free consultation with Mr. Arbes for Post-Conviction relief and Habeas. Although Mr. Arbes was not providing representation for these type filings, he still gave a free consult, over and beyond what would be expected considering a free consult, responded back to me within the same day of reaching or to him or the next day. He knew then that he could not help me; however, he returned the call and gave his utmost and valuable information. He is "the truth" and what I consider to be a prime example for what every professional should be in their capacity. He listened, he was compassionate, and then he did what professionals would do and that is cut through the chase and gave me my prescription for my situation. Mr. Arbes has continued to be a resource for me at various points when I reached out to him to see if we can go in another direction. He is a man of passion for his profession and for that I am truly grateful. I fully trust this man very impressed by his wealth of knowledge and concern for justice. Mr. Arbus was very professional and performed above what I expected. He kept me informed of the process as he proceeded to assist me. He helped me while my son was incarcerated providing detailed information on when he was sentenced, explaining the process of what happened legally after he was incarcerated. He took great care to explain certain details and processes of the system and how he could intervene to assist us. I appreciate his hard work, contacting different departments back and forth until he obtained the information he needed. I tried calling this attorney to see if he could point me in the right direction. He was extremely rude, stopped me before I could even explain anything. His words were ‘let me stop you right there, I don’t do that, good luck and he hung up on me’. Not even have a nice day or anything. Just hung up. I was barely able to get in one sentence. I completely understand if there are certain areas that an attorney is not able to help in but that cold and dismissive manner —It’s not right. I’m horrified. You don’t treat people that way especially when they are looking for some type of relief or help for loved one. It saddens me that there are still people out there like that that treat others like this. Please do better.

Jake is the truth! He's hardworking and a man of his word. I hired Jake June 27th 2022 to assist with my boyfriend going to the transitional center. We went over everything retainer fee etc.. Once he received the fee everything happened pretty quickly as it was mentioned it would. My boyfriend became eligible to go to the tc on July 11th, he left that Wednesday July 13th thanks to Jake Arbes!.. We couldn't have done it without him, if you ever need an attorney that's fast pace and will help you don't hesitate to call him!
