I was referred by a friend. Mr. Balbo took the time to discuss what I was wanting. Then we reviewed the options that would could take. After hiring them they went to work. What I thought was going to take sometime didn't take long at all. Mr Balbo contact me letting me know what was said and agreed upon. Betsy Carlisle was my attorney briefly for a TPO hearing. She did absolutely no research and seemed like she wanted to squeeze every penny should could out of me. She definitely did not want to have a hearing and made it seem like that was not an option. She told me my 3 options were: 1. Do nothing and end up on a domestic violence registry. 2. Come with a plan for child visitation and request a mutual restraining order. 3. Tell the judge I was filing for divorce and the order would only last 4 months. In court, things were negotiated between attorneys without the judge. I told her I wanted a child support worksheet done and she got all flustered and said, “I don’t have time for this.” At the end of negotiating the terms were presented to the judge and he told them to draft the mutual restraining order. I paid her $1250 and my wife had a free attorney. Instead of having her paralegal draft the order, she allowed the opposing one to draft it. They added many things to the order that were not discussed. When I told Betsy I did not agree to this, she just told me, “the longer you argue this, the longer it will be before you see your kids.” It was almost like I paid for my wife another attorney and I didn’t have one. I went to a new, better attorney and was told that I should have had a hearing because I have never gotten physical or even threatened to get physical with my wife so no judge would have ever granted a protective order. He also said a Domestic Relations Financial Affidavit should have been done before ever stepping foot in court. Betsy never even mentioned such a thing. Thanks to Betsy, I now pay temporary child support, all living expenses including mortgage, utilities, and all luxuries which add up to $400 more a month than my income. If you want to be taken for everything you have and get no help, go to this law firm. If not I suggest you find somewhere better. Ask how many years the attorney you’re hiring has been practicing. She made it sound like she had so much experience. I later found out she had only been barred since 2017. Such a joke!

Please bear with me while I explain why Mr. Chester Gregg is the finest jewel in Chatham and Bryan county. Attorney Gregg's integrity, commitment, and his profession personalized service is almost indescribable. It's safe to say all of his efforts paid off due to his excellent track record. During the process he was patient with answering questions, thoroughly giving information about the case in a way that we could understand. He aggressively pursed witnesses and gathered relevant information in order to create an excellent plan of action that ultimately concluded in a clear not guilty outcome. Additionally Mr. Gregg critical and fundamental thinking was very impressive and down right appreciate. As I see it he has helped bless my family, I would recommend his services, he's a ten out of ten.
